How-to

# Customize your arrival page

Shape what visitors see on your partner arrival page: headline, body copy, featured links, images, and the review flow that publishes your changes.

## The idea

Your tracked link opens `/partner/your-slug`, a branded arrival page visitors see before anything else. The Branding page lets you put your own voice on it: your headline, your introduction, your links, your images. Content goes live after a quick review, and until a change is approved, your last approved version keeps showing. Visitors never see an unfinished page.

## What you can customize

- **Headline.** The first line visitors read. Make it about them, not about you: what will being prepared do for their family?
- **Body copy.** A short paragraph introducing BePrepared in your voice. Markdown works here: `**bold**`, `*italic*`, and `[links](https://...)`. A live preview shows exactly how it will render.
- **Featured links.** Up to four links shown on your page. Each needs a label and a URL: either a full `https://` link to your own site, or one of our site pages from the list shown in the editor. Point people at your best related content, a go-bag checklist, an episode, your store.
- **Logo.** A square image works best. PNG, JPEG, or WebP, up to 500KB.
- **Hero image.** A wide banner for the top of the page, 16:9 shaped, up to 5MB.

## Draft, submit, review

1. **Edit and save your draft.** Drafts are private. Save as often as you like; nothing changes on your live page.
2. **Submit for review.** When the draft is ready, submit it. While it is pending, the editor locks so the reviewed version stays exactly what you sent.
3. **Hear back.** An admin either approves your submission, which publishes it to your arrival page, or requests changes and includes a note explaining what to adjust. "Changes requested" is not a rejection of you as a partner; edit the draft to address the note and submit again.

## Already approved once?

If your page is live and you submit an update, the previously approved version stays live while the new submission is reviewed. Approval swaps the new content in. There is never a gap where your page is empty or half-updated.

## Check your work

After a change is approved, open your own tracked link in a new tab and read the page as a first-time visitor would. If the headline earns a second sentence, it is doing its job.
