Our Story

We Built What We Wished Existed

When we shared our solutions with family and friends, the response was always the same: "I don't know where to start" and "If I only have $X, what should I get?" What people were missing wasn't gear. It was accessible, personalized guidance. So we built an AI-powered platform that delivers what took us years to learn, in minutes.

Dozens of printed pages with heavy annotations and hand-drawn revisions spread across a table, the analog process behind a digital platform

Before There Was a Platform, There Was a Kitchen Table.

Two people. Two families. A lot of trial and error, a few hard lessons, and the slow realization that nobody had built what actually needed to exist.

It Started With Our Homes, Our Families

We didn't set out to build a company. We set out to protect the people we love, and that meant doing the work ourselves: reading, testing, getting things wrong, and figuring out what actually held up.

  • Spent years reading everything we could find, not as researchers but as fathers and husbands who wanted real answers
  • Set up our own homes for real emergencies: water, food, power, communication, and a plan for when things go sideways
  • Made plenty of mistakes. Bought the wrong gear, missed things we didn't know to look for, had to start over
  • Earned our HAM radio licenses, built our emergency radio kits from scratch, and field-tested every piece ourselves

Then We Saw How Everyone Was Struggling

We started sharing what we'd learned with family and friends, and the same questions came up every single time. It didn't matter how much money someone made or where they'd grown up.

  • "Where do I start?" was the one we heard from almost everyone
  • "How much do I need for my family?" Nobody knew how to size what they were doing
  • We watched people stockpile food with no way to cook it. Others had water stored but no plan for when the toilet stops flushing
  • People weren't short on smarts or effort. What they didn't have was a guide built for their own situation

So We Began to Build Solutions

We stopped explaining it and started building it. One family at a time at first. That grew into a framework, then a methodology, then something that could scale.

  • Sat at kitchen tables, listened to each situation, and built plans that actually fit people's lives
  • Developed a framework that asks the right questions first, because the answers only matter once you know who's asking
  • Designed plans that anticipate the obstacles people never see coming, the gaps nobody talks about until they're standing in the middle of them
  • Proved it with our radio project: turnkey, pre-configured, and it worked for people who'd never touched a radio in their life

Then We Did Something That Hasn't Been Done

We had something most people building in this space didn't: decades of building and running companies, plus deep technical expertise. We decided to use all of it.

  • Combined hard-won preparedness knowledge with experience running organizations at every scale: small businesses, mid-market, even Fortune 50
  • Tiran applied advanced AI and systems architecture to build a personalization engine that meets each person where they actually are
  • Used AI the way experienced operators do, not as a gimmick but as a way to deliver at scale what we'd only been able to do one family at a time
  • We built what we wished had existed when we started. That's the whole story.
