BeAware watches the addresses you care about and tells you the moment a new hazard shows up, so you have time to prepare instead of react.

The BeAware monitoring dashboard is one live view of your area: a status bar shows your location and overall risk, five tabs (Utilities, Emergency, Digital, Environmental, News) sort live events, the map shows where they are, and a bottom ticker scrolls breaking alerts.

Baseline report severity reads your address's historical track record and structure, paired with a ZIP-level risk score. It is not a forecast for this week, and it is not a readiness grade.

We watch official feeds around the clock and email you when an alert covering one of your saved addresses meets your urgency level.

Open /beaware/alert-settings to choose which BeAware alerts you get and whether each arrives by email, SMS, or WhatsApp; changes save automatically, and SMS or WhatsApp need a phone you've verified on your profile.

When one event sends you nothing, it usually fell below your settings, missed your saved addresses, or updated an alert you already received.

Creating a BeReady plan means working through a 7-step wizard: address, household, configuration, scenarios, impacts, time horizon, then a review screen where you press Build my plan and wait up to 6 minutes for your personalized plan.

Your supply list turns a BeReady plan into a precise shopping list, scaling quantities by household size and the plan's time horizon (72 hours up to a year), and shrinking as you mark what you already own.

Open /beready/drills, pick one of the two drills suggested for your household, read the 25-minute script aloud at the kitchen table (no equipment needed), then click "Mark this drill as run" to record it.

The Skills Tracker turns the kits on your plan plus eight core Foundations skills into a per-member record, so you can mark who has actually learned each one and see where your household stands.

My Tribe lets you connect with a trusted household inside BeReady and share only what you choose, one line at a time, with the freedom to stop sharing whenever you want.

Open BeEquipped > Kits, then narrow the catalog with search and the left-rail filters (scenario, outcome, timeframe, climate, price, contents); if you have a BeReady plan, tap Match my plan to auto-fit and rank kits by how well they fit it.

If you are on the Combo plan, every BeEquipped kit is automatically discounted (5% by default) with the savings already shown in the price, so you pay less without entering a code.

Change your plan from the Subscription tab on /profile: upgrade to Combo or switch to annual in place with prorated billing, or cancel a product to drop it when your paid period ends.

Two-factor authentication is not in BePrepared yet, so secure your group account from the Account tab on /profile with a strong, unique password and a data export.

If BeAware alerts are not reaching you, walk this checklist: confirm the alert and the right channel are switched on in Alert Settings, make sure a phone number and a verified email are on file, check spam, and remember that some outage alerts only fire within a set range.
