Why We Built This

I've been doing this for about 15 years. It started with building bug-out bags, then stocking my home, making sure my family was actually ready, not just on paper. And every time we looked for help, the same problem occurred. Everything was disjointed: point solutions, lists that were halfway there, no one really to answer your questions, and everything carried this extreme stigma that made normal people feel like they didn't belong here. So this isn't extremism. This isn't being a prepper. It's self-reliance. It's how I was raised, how I grew up. So we started helping family first, our own families, then immediate family, then friends. And every time, even with us sitting right there, they still struggled. Not because they didn't care or we didn't care, but because nothing unified existed to guide them. So we built something. It took all of our experiences, everything that we learned from them, speaking to our families, everything we learned from reading, researching, talking to state and federal emergency personnel.
